Please take a look at the work party dates for this year, and plan on lending a hand whenever possible.
If you are at the range, and finish one of the projects listed below, please reply to this topic, and let us know.
2008 Work Party Dates
Work parties start at 9:00 am and last until about 4:00 pm
January 12th and 19th
February 2nd, 16th and 23rd
March 8th, 15th and 29th
April 12th and 19th
June 7th and 14th
July 19th
August 9th
2008 CRB Range Work List
1. Gravel the entrance road potholes.
2. Bow hangers on D course.
3. Do something with the curtains at B-3.
4. General maintenance, clean up all courses (A, B, C, D), trails, and roads. Burn debris.
5. General maintenance and clean up of flat range and around Club house and container areas.
Burn debris from these areas or take to dump.
6. Add shavings to the kid's play set area. Scott has shavings.
7. Seal leaks in roof in Clubhouse and Registration Booth.
8. Build shelving in white container for broad head 3D targets.
9. Make run to dump. Take old stove/oven from mower shed.
Generator: Fix fan switch.
Check fluid level of battery.
Clean up wiring.
10. Mowers: Check oil levels.
Fill with gas.
Charge the mower battery.
11. Check existing carpet bales to ensure shooting quality.
12. Check butts on C courses and make sure they are shootable.
13. Install carpet bales and 4X4 cross members on “A” course. Install fire hose on exposed
supports.
14. Haul wood from D course to firewood shed.
15. Replace burlap targets, as needed, throughout range.
16. Add carpet under top cross member to tighten 50 yard butt and any other loose butts.
17. Purchase paper targets for flat range and have target pasting party.
18. Check and repair stairs, as needed, on targets A2 and A4.
19. Ready “B” course for carpet bales. Remove straw bales and remove cross member supports.
20. Install carpet bales and 4X4 cross members on “B” course. Install fire hose on exposed
surfaces. |

-->The gate key does not work on the container with the mowers.
I checked the oil in all three mowers and just the walk-behind closest to the door (not the Deere) needed topping-off.
I charged the battery on the riding mower for 2.5 hours last night during the indoor league shoot so I would expect that to be enough to start the mower IF it keeps the charge. The terminals looked bad, so if it doesn't crank over well, we may need a new battery. |
